Prior to Hortonworks, Mr. Bodley was vice president, Strategic Customer Program at SAP, where he led a team responsible for SAP’s strategic enterprise accounts.
“Having been at the forefront of Hadoop Adoption over the last several years, I have personally experienced the challenges faced by Fortune 500 companies when using Hadoop to achieve their top use cases. Infoworks is the only company that has developed a comprehensive end-to- end solution to data warehousing on Hadoop – perhaps the biggest challenge that Hadoop customers are facing. I’m thrilled at the opportunity to work with Infoworks to help customers unlock the potential of Hadoop,” said Mr. Bodley.
Infoworks also added Jeff Monk to its sales team. Mr. Monk has over 18 years of experience in data warehousing and analytics sales at companies such as IBM (Netezza), Teradata, SAS, Hyperion, and Cognos. “We are very pleased to have Grant and Jeff on board to help us address the rapidly growing customer demand for data warehousing on Hadoop. Grant and Jeff bring unique perspectives to Infoworks with their respective backgrounds in both traditional and Big Data technologies. As a strategic sales executive at Hortonworks and SAP, Grant brings deep insights into how enterprises are leveraging Hadoop to transform their businesses.
